Education
Dr. Stewart earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland at College Park, with graduate studies at Philadelphia’s Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine.
He then completed a three-year surgical residency at Mercy Medical Center and the University of Maryland School of Medicine, both based in Baltimore, in addition to a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery with the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Maryland.
Certifications and Memberships
He is certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Board Certification is a voluntary process that required the doctor to undergo evaluation of his surgical cases by a group of medical peers and to pass numerous comprehensive exams to thoroughly demonstrate his expertise in foot and ankle care.
He is also a member of the APMA and sits on the Executive Board of the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association (MPMA).
Personally
When not working, Dr. Stewart enjoys skiing, playing tennis, working out to stay in shape and eating healthy. He is married with 2 children.
