Yes. Timonium Foot and Ankle Center welcomes new patients and accepts Medicare and most major insurance plans.
Do I need a referral to see a podiatrist?
Most PPO plans let you see a podiatrist without a referral, while some HMO plan do require a referral. Medicare does not require a referral. Call the office and we’ll help you check.
How do I know if I need custom foot orthotics?
If you have persistent heel, arch, or foot pain, or a condition like flat feet or tendinitis, custom orthotics may help. Our doctors starts with an accurate diagnosis and recommends them only when they’re the right treatment for your condition and your goals.
When should I see a podiatrist?
You should consider seeing a podiatrist for persistent or recurring problems involving the foot, ankle, or lower leg, including pain, swelling, numbness, wounds, skin or nail changes, injuries, difficulty walking, or problems that interfere with activity.
