I had two surgeries by another doctor on my right foot to repair a bunion and hammertoe. It initially appeared the that the surgeries were successful, but overtime I started to have recurrence of my pain. Prior to visiting him, I had exhausted all conservative options and we agreed that a reconstruction of my forefoot and a calf release would be my best o ption. He thoroughly managed all my expectations and explained the various procedures and recovery time, so I knew exactly what to expect.
Dr. Stewart performed surgery in September 2019 with results that exceeded my expectations. After the initial recovery, I am able walk without pain. I anticipate being able to return to my full physical activity within the next few months.
